Photography involves decisions that go beyond technique. What we show, how we show it and the value we give an image are all part of how we understand this craft and relate to the people in front of the camera.
In this category, I share my point of view on photography, its processes and the questions that arise when working with images. These reflections grow out of practice, observation and the questions that accompany creative work.
There is room to discuss natural moments, carefully crafted images, trends, colour and the ways a photograph can move us or catch our attention. There is also room to reconsider our habits and ask whether a decision really helps us tell a story better.
The aim is not to establish a single correct way of doing things, but to explain my perspective and open a conversation. Every experience can add a different nuance, and every photograph can raise a different question.
Because thinking about images is also part of making them: it helps us choose with purpose and recognise what we want to convey.
