Hotel Photo Shoot

An Example of a Photo Shoot in a Hotel

Today I want to share the results of a hotel photo shoot I did some time ago. Although it may not look like it, the photographs you see here were not retouched. I delivered them to the model just a few hours after the session ended.

There are no Photoshop effects involved: the coloured circles, light flares and colour effects you can see in the images were all created at the time of shooting.

The session lasted 1 hour and 30 minutes. It is worth mentioning that the model was very experienced, so there was very little need to repeat shots or spend much time explaining the different poses.

Throughout the session, I guided the model to find the most interesting poses, angles and locations. Her role was simply to follow my direction and adapt to each setup.

For me, this is a very successful session in every respect, which is why I wanted to share it here on the blog.

A less experienced model would probably need around three hours to achieve a similar variety of images, so in that case it would be closer to a three-hour portfolio session.

If you are interested in having a photo shoot like this, or if you are a photographer and would like to learn how to create these kinds of images quickly and without relying on Photoshop, get in touch.

Below you can see a small selection from the session.

I hope you enjoy them!
