A Collection of Spring Flower Field Photos
Hi everyone! It’s been quite a while since I last posted anything here… and 2020 has been a very quiet year for photographers.
It has been a year full of cancellations and postponed dates, all in an effort to stay safe from COVID-19. I have not felt that studio shoots were particularly advisable, as they take place in enclosed spaces where transmission is easier. Outdoor shoots, with the necessary precautions and masks, felt like a better option.
After lockdown, and with a real desire to start taking photographs again after such an unwelcome break, my wife and I spent a day in the Pyrenees looking for beautiful fields of flowers. We found several, stopped along the way and took these photographs without too much preparation, although I did use the lighting technique I normally work with.
Although she appears in dresses in the photographs, most of the time she was actually wearing hiking boots or trainers underneath. You cannot see them in the pictures, and they are far more comfortable when moving around in the countryside.
I hope I will soon be able to share weddings and First Communion photography here again, and that next year things will improve.
See you soon!
